Summer 2014

It's been four years since our last post, so we won't try to update you on everything.  But, here is a snapshot into our summer.  Swim Lessons, Boating, Weekends in Florida with family, Birthdays, Road trip, more birthdays, and by the way, did we mention that we have added a little girl to our family?

Spencer is now crawling and standing and loves to open cabinets. He is also fascinated with electrical outlets. He turned one April 18th.

Happy St Pats!  Heather dressed the boys in their St Patricks Day Shirts for this picture.  Blake was not interested at all in taking pictures.  We tried to trick him into the pictures by taking multiple pictures of Joseph at angles that  included Blake in the background.  He figured out what we were doing and let us know that he was not amused.

Spencer Espen was born!

7 lbs 4oz

19.5 inches long

and look- no cone head!

A smiling mom, just minutes after giving birth.

What an adorable duo!

Heather is doing well and is looking forward to

having her mom here on Thursday( and so is Joe).

Spencer isn't quite as calm with dad holding him,

but isn't he just adorable! (spencer too)

So far the boys are adapting well. They like holding him and watching him sleep. Joseph even has stated that his latest superpower is that he can make Spencer stop crying whenever he wants. I think we may keep Joseph up tonight to test that power!

This is our family two months ago.  We took a trip to North Carolina to see snow.

Tonight we are in the L&D unit in the hospital with hopes that by tomorrow morning we will have a new post with pictures of our new son.  Stay tuned...

We are excited about our third little superhero on the way.  No that's not him, stay tuned to see pictures of our newest addition.  Hopefully tomorrow!
